I have enjoyed photography ever since I received my first camera at a very young age, it was not until I took a photography class my final year of college that my passion for photography truly began.
After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, I took a job in the corporate world for 18 years. I often times told co-workers and friends that when I “grow up” I am going to become a photographer. My job required a great deal of travel and I never left home without my camera. I eventually decided it was time to follow my passion and become a full-time photographer.
I am a freelance sports photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I have extensive experience photographing a wide variety of sports, including football, basketball, soccer, hockey rugby, indoor volleyball, sand volleyball, and cycling. In addition to photographing a number of Division I college athletics regular season games, I have also photographed college football post season, Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament and NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament games.
I have been fortunate enough to be able to combine my passion for sports with my passion for photography. Though my primary focus is sports photography, I have experience photographing a variety of subject matters; headshots, portraits, events, and real estate.
