KLC fotos will never request that a contributor cover an event that is not paid.


*Spec coverage (short for speculative) means there is potential to license/sell images created from the event, event though there is no payment upfront from the client. Volunteer coverage means there is no potential for additional income from covering the event and the contributor is covering purely as a favor to the client.

Spec vs Volunteer

Spec is short for "speculative" and means that while there is no assignment fee, there is the potential to earn income from additionally licensing your work. Volunteer means there is little to no potential to earn income from covering the event.


KLC fotos never requests photographers to cover on spec or as volunteers and these events are only listed for the benefit of the clients.
